Raiven Storefront Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 19, 2026 · Version 2.0

This notice applies to every online storefront operated by Raiven, Inc. Each storefront carries the brand of the contractor it was built for. In this notice, "this store" means the storefront you are shopping on, and "the Contractor" means the contracting company whose brand appears on it.

1. Who you are buying from

This store is operated by Raiven, Inc., 100 Spectrum Center Drive, Suite 870, Irvine, California 92618.

Raiven is the seller of record. Raiven — not the Contractor — sells you the product, takes your payment, collects and remits sales tax, arranges shipping, and handles returns and refunds. Raiven is responsible for the personal information you provide through this store, and this notice explains how we handle it.

Raiven does not install products or perform electrical work. Installation is arranged separately with the Contractor or another installer, directly between you and them.

2. In short

We do not sell your personal information. We never have, and we do not share it for advertising.

We run no advertising trackers on this store — no ad pixels, no ad networks, no retargeting. We use Google Analytics for aggregate measurement only.

We do not record your screen, replay your session, or log your keystrokes.

We do not store your full card number. Payment is handled by Shopify and Stripe.

When you buy something that needs installing, we give your contact details to the Contractor so they can offer to install it. That is the only thing they may use it for. Section 6 explains exactly what they can and cannot do, and how to stop it.

You must be 18 or older to order.

3. What we collect

When you order: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, what you ordered, order total, tax, and shipping. Payment is processed by Shopify and Stripe; we receive only the last four digits, card brand, and expiration date.

When you contact us or return something: your messages, emails, call notes, return, refund, warranty, and repair details, and any photos or documents you send.

When you use the store: IP address, browser, device type, operating system, approximate IP-derived location at city or region level, pages and products viewed, cart contents, and how you arrived. We use Google Analytics for aggregate measurement and invisible reCAPTCHA (operated by Google) to prevent fraud and abuse.

If you report a safety problem: what happened, when, where, the product, and any injury or property damage.

We do not collect precise GPS location, biometric information, health information, protected characteristics such as race or religion, sensory recordings, education records, or the contents of your private communications.

4. Where it comes from

Almost all directly from you. We also receive order and delivery updates from suppliers and carriers, payment authorization and fraud signals from Shopify and Stripe, tax results from our tax service, and referral information from the Contractor if you reached the store through them.

We do not buy consumer information about you from data brokers.

5. Why we use it

To take, fulfill, and ship your order · process payment and prevent fraud · determine, collect, and remit sales tax and file returns · handle cancellations, returns, refunds, warranty claims, and repairs · answer your questions · connect you with the Contractor for installation as described in Section 6 · send transactional messages such as order confirmation, shipping and delivery updates, delay notices, and receipts, which are not marketing and continue while an order is open · contact you about a product safety issue or recall, which we may do even if you opted out of marketing and may be legally required to do · keep records required for tax, accounting, warranty, and product safety purposes · send marketing only if you asked us to, with an unsubscribe link in every message · and comply with law and protect people's safety and our rights.

6. Installation follow-up by the Contractor

This is the one disclosure worth reading closely, so here it is in plain terms.

Most of what this store sells needs professional installation. When you place an order, we give the Contractor your name, contact details, and what you bought, so they can offer to install it for you. The Contractor is the company this store is branded for.

What the Contractor is allowed to do: contact you about installing the product you bought, or a service directly related to it.

What the Contractor is contractually prohibited from doing:

using your information for any other marketing, product line, or promotion

adding you to a general mailing list, newsletter, or advertising audience

combining your information with information from any other source

selling, renting, sharing, or passing your information to anyone else

keeping your information longer than 12 months after your purchase, or after the installation work finishes, whichever is later — after that they must delete it

They are also required to follow the laws that govern calls, texts, and emails, and to get any consent those laws require before contacting you that way.

How to stop it. Tell either of us. Email privacy@raiven.com or tell the Contractor directly, and they must stop and must tell us. It will not affect your order, your price, or your service.

Why this is not a sale of your information. We receive nothing in exchange. The Contractor gets your details only so the company whose store you bought from can help you install what you bought, and only for that purpose, under a contract that binds them. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, and we have not done either in the preceding 12 months.

7. Who else we share with

Fulfillment and operations. The supplier or manufacturer shipping your order receives your name, shipping address, phone, and order contents so they can ship directly to you. Carriers receive what they need to deliver and let you track. Shopify and Stripe process your payment. Our tax service receives your delivery address and order details. Other service providers handle hosting, order management, email, and support. Each is contractually limited to working on our instructions and is prohibited from using your information for its own purposes or selling it.

Safety and legal. Product safety authorities and manufacturers where required to report an incident or conduct a recall · law enforcement and courts in response to lawful requests · and to defend legal claims, investigate fraud, or protect safety.

Corporate transactions. In a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, where any buyer is bound by this notice or gives you notice before changing it.

We do not disclose your personal information to anyone for their own direct marketing purposes.

8. Cookies and tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies for cart, checkout, and fraud prevention · cookie notice-acceptance and functionality cookies to remember your choices · Google Analytics for aggregate measurement, with Google Signals disabled and no audience export to any advertising platform · and reCAPTCHA for abuse prevention.

We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels of any kind, ad networks or ad servers, session recording, screen replay, heatmaps, keystroke logging, or cross-site tracking for advertising.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser; strictly necessary cookies are required for checkout to work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

9. Your rights

We offer these to every customer of this store, wherever you live.

You may ask us to tell you what we hold and give you a copy, including the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients · correct anything inaccurate · delete your information · provide it in a portable format · stop marketing and stop the Contractor follow-up in Section 6 · and limit the use of sensitive personal information.

How. Email privacy@raiven.com, call (888) 272-0090, or write to Raiven, Inc., Attn: Privacy, 100 Spectrum Center Drive, Suite 870, Irvine, CA 92618. Include the email address or order number you used. Raiven handles these requests directly — you do not need to contact anyone else.

Process. We verify your identity using information we already hold, usually your order number and email, and will not ask for more than we need. Someone may act for you with written permission. We respond within 45 days and will tell you inside that window if we need up to 45 more. Disclosures cover the 12 months before your request.

Limits on deletion. We may decline where the law permits, including to complete your order or provide something you requested; detect security incidents or fraud; debug errors; exercise free speech; comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act; conduct public-interest research you consented to; make internal uses aligned with your expectations; or comply with a legal obligation. In practice we keep tax, invoice, and payment records for 7 years and purchase records needed to notify you of a recall. We will tell you what we kept and why, and delete the rest.

Appeals. If we deny a request, appeal within 60 days by emailing privacy@raiven.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. Someone not involved in the original decision will review it and we will respond in writing within 45 days. If we deny the appeal, we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general.

No retaliation. We will never refuse to sell to you, charge you more, reduce your service quality, or retaliate because you exercised these rights.

10. Product safety

If a product you bought here overheats, catches fire, causes an electrical problem, malfunctions, or causes any injury or property damage, tell us immediately at safety@raiven.com or (888) 272-0090.

As seller of record we may be required to report certain safety information to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission or other authorities and to contact purchasers about recalls. We use your contact and order information for that. We keep purchase records so we can reach you if a product you own is recalled, which is one reason we cannot always delete order records on request.

11. How long we keep it

Where law requires longer, or we need information for an active claim, investigation, or safety matter, we keep it for that period and then delete it.

12. California-specific disclosures

Do Not Track. We do not sell or share personal information or engage in targeted advertising, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to apply to. If that ever changes we will update this notice in advance, provide an opt-out link, and honor those signals.

Shine the Light (Civil Code §1798.83). We do not share personal information with third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes. The Contractor disclosure in Section 6 is limited to installation of the product you bought and is contractually restricted, and you can stop it at any time.

Minors (Business and Professions Code §22581). This store has no registered user accounts and no area where you can post content publicly, so there is nothing to request removal of. If you believe we hold information about someone under 18, email privacy@raiven.com and we will delete it.

13. Age

This store sells only to adults. You must be at least 18 to order. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and never from children under 13. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, email privacy@raiven.com and we will delete it. A parent or guardian may contact us to review or delete a child's information.

14. Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls limited to personnel who need it, network and application firewalls, monitoring, and security requirements on our vendors. Payment card data is handled by Shopify and Stripe, which maintain PCI DSS compliance, and is not stored on our systems.

If we discover a breach affecting your information we will notify you without unreasonable delay and within the time your state's law requires, and tell you what happened and what to do. No system is perfectly secure — if you think your order or payment information has been compromised, contact us immediately.

15. Changes

We review this notice at least once a year, and the date it was last updated appears at the top. If we make a material change — to what we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, or how you exercise your rights — we will post the updated notice here and tell you through the channel we normally use to reach you. If we want to use information we already collected for a materially different purpose, we will ask your consent first.

16. Where your information is handled
